The Heights Club: May 2024
T’is “the merry, merry month of May”! North Hill’s campus is green as meadow and Mother Nature has painted our landscape into a masterpiece. Residents are busy preparing their own raised gardens to add to the palette. Soon fragrant peonies and lavender, coneflowers and daisies will open their blooms to welcome happy summer.
Art at North Hill
North Hill residents and team members helped Mother Nature along this spring by adding whimsical Yarn Storm Sculptures to the campus. Artist-in-Residence Cherie Clinton was weaver-in-chief for this project. It’s all part of North Hill’s second annual participation in Needham Open Studios.
Come to North Hill this weekend, May, 4 & 5 to see these colorful sculptures, visit our art gallery, view our permanent art collection along with art created by our talented residents.
In the Best of Taste!
North Hill participated in A Taste of Metro West this week at the splashy Verve Hotel in Natick. Led by Executive Chef, Rob Fox, the Dining Services team offered up samplings of some of North Hill’s most exquisite cuisine. It’s no surprise to us that they won the prize for Best Presentation. Congratulations to North Hill’s Dining Services Team!

“Our Myriad Minded Shakespeare”
From The Page To The Stage With Johnny Kinsman
William Shakespeare is celebrated around the world for his unparalleled ability to bring unforgettable characters to the stage. Less known, and therefore less lauded, are the 154 sonnets penned by the famous playwright as ruminations on life and love. While the muses that ignited Shakespeare’s passionate poetry are obscured by the mists of time, the enduring brilliance they inspired, and the resulting sonnets penned to them, celebrate everlasting love that transcends human frailty.
