Woodshop & Ceramic Studio

The North Hill Woodshop offers qualified residents the equipment needed to take on everything from small repair jobs and craft projects to fine furniture building. It’s a place where the experienced craftsman and the beginner can share the pleasures of working with wood.

The spacious, well-lit main workroom is equipped with essential, up-to-date power tools, including a band saw, jig saw, drill press, jointer-planer, thickness planer, router table, sanders, and grinders. A SawStop table saw is one of the key safety features in the shop. Small power tools as well as traditional hand tools are within easy reach of the numerous workbenches.

A separate room provides dedicated spaces for working on small, delicate long-term projects such as model ships and boats. In all, a well-equipped resource for the North Hill Resident who wants to continue a life-long passion for woodworking or wants to explore a new pastime.
